At Thermae 2000, the sauna area is only accessible without swimwear, and the bathing area only with swimwear. There are a few days each month on which exceptions apply, known as swimwear days and nude days. In the calendar above, you can see when there is a swimwear day (sauna and bathing area accessible only with swimwear) or a nude day (sauna and bathing area accessible only without swimwear).

With this special package, you start your day at the Christmas market in one of Valkenburg’s atmospheric caves. While strolling past the stalls, you taste winter delicacies and enjoy the unique atmosphere that only Christmas Town Valkenburg can offer.
After a day full of lights, coziness and Christmas spirit, you return to Thermae 2000. Here you leave the hustle and bustle behind and completely unwind in our thermal baths, saunas and relaxation areas. In the evening, you enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in our hotel, so you can end the day relaxed and wake up refreshed the next morning.
This way, your trip to Valkenburg becomes more than just a visit to the Christmas market: it becomes a complete experience full of warmth, magic and indulgence.
The Magical Christmas Market special includes:
- Daily access to all spa and wellness facilities

Terms & Conditions
The rates include a tourist tax of €6.99 per person per night (note: this is only paid upon check-out) and exclude parking costs of €15 per vehicle per night.
The ticket for the Velvet Cave, mulled wine or hot chocolate, and the shiatsu session are included once during your stay. If you book multiple nights, on the additional days you can enjoy the extensive breakfast buffet, access to all wellness facilities, and participation in our experience program.
