Going to the spa: With or without swimwear?

At Thermae 2000, the sauna area is only accessible without clothing, and the bathing area is only accessible with swimwear. There are a few days each month when exceptions apply, known as swimwear days and nude days. The calendar shows when it is a swimwear day (both sauna and bathing areas accessible only with swimwear) or a nude day (both sauna and bathing areas accessible only without clothing).

On a swimwear day, wearing swimwear is mandatory at Thermae 2000. You must wear a swimsuit, bikini, or trunks in both the bathing landscape and sauna areas. Every Tuesday is a swimwear day at Thermae 2000.

Swimwear Weekends

During a swimwear weekend at Thermae 2000, as on swimwear days, wearing swimwear is mandatory in both the bathing landscape and sauna areas. This provides a fully relaxed experience for guests who prefer not to be unclothed in the spa facilities. It is ideal for people new to the sauna world or those who feel more comfortable in swimwear.

A swimwear weekend begins on Friday at 5:00 PM. On Saturday and Sunday, you can enjoy the saunas in swimwear all day long.

What should I bring?

Swimwear is required, so make sure to bring a swimsuit, trunks, or bikini. Additionally, it is recommended to bring slippers, a bathrobe, and towels. If you forget anything, you can also rent or purchase these items on-site.

Spa without swimwear

Every Thursday is a nude day at Thermae 2000. Want to combine your wellness moment with an overnight stay and enjoy our wellness facilities in the traditional way? Check the calendar to see when our unclothed weekends take place. An unclothed weekend always starts on Friday evening at 5:00 PM. On these days, you can also swim nude in our thermal baths.

Unclothed days offer a unique and pure spa experience without the restriction of swimwear. This weekend is designed for everyone who feels comfortable in a fully natural environment. The free and relaxed atmosphere promotes deep relaxation and an authentic sauna experience.

Nude Days

On a nude day, or unclothed day, everything is without swimwear. No swimwear is allowed in both the bathing landscape and the sauna area.

Nude Weekends

During a nude weekend at Thermae 2000, swimwear is not allowed in either the bathing landscape or the sauna area.
