Thermal water

Thermae 2000's thermal spring water comes from deep springs that have been hidden in the limestone-rich Limburg soil for more than 40,000 years and is full of trace elements and minerals. The founders, physiotherapists Mr Jaspars and Mr Verschuur, discovered springs 381 metres below what is now Thermae 2000. The springs come from a subterranean lake that extends into ancient volcanic areas in Germany. As far as we know, this is the only running water in the world that contains no caesium radioactivity. Unique in the wellness world!

The founders of Thermae 2000 coined the basic philosophy 'Mens sana in corpore sano'. That means: a healthy mind in a healthy body. With this philosophy, they started drilling for thermal water and continued after finding these springs.

Thermal baths

That the water from the Cauberg has a special effect is confirmed by the German designation that its own thermal spring water carries: "Ursprungliches reines Wasser". Water with beneficial effects on muscles and joints. Relieving for rheumatism patients, among others, but particularly relaxing for everyone. Treatments are therefore preferably given in thermal water. All baths and whirlpools at Thermae 2000 are filled with this beneficial water and invite the body to relax. In total, all our baths are filled with 1627m3 water (that's 1,627,000 litres!!). A 'tour of the baths' is an experience in itself. The water is pleasantly warm, around 32 degrees Celsius.

Mineral water

Also, all mineral water from all taps at Thermae 2000 is extracted at a depth of 80 metres. This fresh water comes from exactly the same layers as the SPA springs, which have been promoted with cleanliness for years. You can drink this mineral water at all restaurants and all drinking spots. Have you already tasted it during your visit to Thermae 2000?

Thermae For Me is Thermae 2000's own skincare line. All the skin and face care products of Thermae For Me are enriched with thermal water from its own source, with particularly beneficial effects for radiantly hydrated skin. Thermal water has offered us health and beauty since prehistoric times. Because the water from Thermae 2000's own spring has seeped through various layers of soil, it is packed with spores and minerals that are particularly beneficial for the skin.
